This Compression Blow Dehydrator (CBD) is a secondary dehydrating machine which will be combined after the vacuum-type horizontal belt filter. Vacuum dehydrated cake which is on the filtration filter cloth is covered with seal filter cloth from above, and then the cake is sandwiched by two filter clothes and proceed to between the blow drum and special squeezing belt. And then this cake is squeezed by special squeezing belt from the top and supplied pressure air from the blow drum inside in order to push the liquid in the cake to the outside. Typically the cake with a thixotropic and dilatancy characteristic needs long cake washing time, it means that this type of cake requires a large filtration area. Rotary pressure filter has excellent dehydration ability, and throughput per unit filtration area is also large, but this type of filter machine doesn’t have enough cake washing area. Filter press has also excellent dehydration ability, but this type of filter machine doesn’t discharge the cake continuously. On the other hand, the Compression Blow Dehydrator can achieve an excellent dehydration continuously and also the cake is washed enough by the vacuum-type horizontal belt filter.
