MELTBLOWN: A TECHNICAL TEXTILE WITH MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS
Klap designs, manufactures and supplies non-woven filter media for professionals (Respiratory and medical, cleanroom filtration, Vehicle filtration (engine or cabin), filtration of domestic appliances, industrial filtration (air or liquid), air quality in individual/collective housing, battery separators, acoustic and thermal insulation).
Our production plant is located in France (Brittany) and all our products are manufactured locally.

Klap designs, manufactures, and supplies single-use health-protection equipment and non-woven filter media for professionals (Respiratory and medical, cleanroom filtration, Vehicle filtration (engine or cabin), filtration of domestic appliances, industrial filtration (air or liquid), air quality in individual/collective housing, acoustic and thermal insulation).
Our production plant is located in France (Brittany) and all our products are manufactured locally.
The meltblown by Klap:
- 5 to 180 g/m² with our classic spunbond or your own carrier layer (non-woven, grid, film, woven, fabric, etc.)
- A wide spectrum of polymers processed: PP, PES, PBT, PLA, PPS, etc.
- Colours or other functions (hydrophobic, hydrophilic, etc.) according to customer request
- Width of finished product: 150 mm - 1,600 mm
- In-line weight and permeability measurement
- Electrostatic charging unit (if required)
- Calender (if required)
- Dryer and crystallizer (for specific polymers)
- In-line laminating: 2 unwinders for lamination (non-woven, grid, film, woven, fabric, etc.)
- Recyclable via our own or other channels (depending on the polymer)
