THE SONO ADVANTAGE

IN-EX is driven by unique and patented sonochemical technology, which uses ultrasonic energy to impregnate metal-oxide particles into filtration media.

The technology has been jointly developed with scientists from a leading Israeli university and is being used in the medical industry to fight infections in hospitals.

A chemical reaction creates metal oxide which is impregnated into media fibers using ultrasound waves. The sono-chemical coating is extremely stable and long-lasting. While the filter is in use, moisture in the air activates the metal oxide which creates free radicals on the filter surface that eliminate germs by destroying their protein layer and preventing their ability to reproduce.
