As a young subsidiary of two mid-sized engineering companies based in Germany, we believe that collaboration drives sustainable innovation.

Since our founding in 2011, Biofibre today has development centers in Germany and industrial-scale production facilities in France to produce granulate materials for a wide range of applications.

In 2021, Biofibre began developing materials with unique benefits for the non-woven markets. At Filtech, we are excited to present our novel bio-based material system, specifically designed for meltblown and spunbond processes, offering key advantages over PLA.
