ICAT produces adhesives and sealants for the filter industry since 1974.
We actually have 2 plants in Italy and Spain where we produce a special product range for all kinds of filter manufacturing:
- HMA - Hotmelt Adhesives for filter plating
- HMPSA - Pressure Sensitive Hotmelt Adhesives
- MPO - Metallocene based Hotmelt Adhesives
- PUR - 1k & 2k for filter sealing and gaskets
- WBA - Water based adhesives
- Polyamide based Hotmelt adhesives
Our range of adhesives covers all industrial applications for the production of air filters (primary, fine and absolute filtration), filters for the automotive sector (oil, fuel, passenger compartment), water filters and more.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to develop and expand our adhesives business within the filtration market across Europe, Middle East & Africa.
The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening our market position, growing key accounts, and driving new business opportunities in industrial and technical filtration applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a European sales and market development strategy for adhesives used in filtration applications.
Identify and grow new business opportunities with OEMs, converters, and system integrators in the filtration sector.
Manage and expand existing key accounts while building long-term customer relationships.
Work closely with Technical, R&D, and Product Management teams to support customer projects and customized solutions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in filtration.
Represent the company at international trade fairs, industry events, and customer meetings.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in adhesives, chemicals, or related industrial materials.
Strong knowledge of, or exposure to, the filtration market (air, liquid, automotive, industrial, HVAC, or medical filtration).
Demonstrated ability to develop markets and manage key European customers.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in an international environment.
Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Location
Home-based in Europe or office-based, with frequent travel.
