Aica Adtek Sdn. Bhd. was formed in 1994 to address the growing demand of Hot Melt Adhesives around the world.
Our main office and 170,000 square foot manufacturing facility is located in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.
Aica Adtek manufactures a wide range of EVA, Polyolefin and pressure sensitive hot melt adhesives for various segment of application in Air Filtration products such as AHU , Automotive, Air Purifier (HEPA or ULPA), Appliances and Industrial.
At AICA, our vision is to be a Leading and Responsible adhesive manufacturer, aim to enhance people's living environment and infrastructure by providing superior adhesion and surfacing solutions. Our core values are Customer Focus, Care, Integrity and Excellence.
AICA Adtek is the largest single plant Hot Melt manufacturer in South East Asia region with the annual production capacity 21,000MT. Our research and development division produces over 30 new and specialty products every year. Recently, we have developed Foamable Hot Melt Adhesive for pleating application with ratio up to 50%.

Aica Adtek - Air Filter Adhesive
At Aica Adtek, our range of EVA and Metallocene products are developed for a wide diversity of applications which include pleating with separator, edge sealing and bonding of complex material from Polyolefin fibers to Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Our R&D laboratory team is constantly, formulating and testing of adhesive's performance to meet the increasing demand in the air filtration industry.

Hotmelt Adhesive for Superior Bonding
Aica Adtek have Specialty products are available to bond media laminated with PTFE material, to form an almost airtight seal during the ABS filter housing assemblies and securely bond between wire mesh and synthetic media on a cylindrical canister gas turbine air filter.

Hotmelt Adhesive for Edge Sealing Application
In the ever challenging sector for home appliances air filter, Aica Adtek introduced serveral product range as an alternative to ever reliable polyurethane based hotmelt for casting circular filters used in a vacuum cleaner. We also provide solution for other air filter cartridge that require additional bonding reinforcement to enhance its durability properties after exposure to external forces.
Our products with high creep resistance are making it's presence in the automotive industry which include the likes of Honda and Toyota, particularly in sealing the cabin air filters.

Hotmelt Adhesive for Pleating Application
The hotmelt separators maintain its uniform spacing between pleats to allow optimal flow of air into and through the filter. At Aica Adtek we have a wide product portfolio with range of viscosities and curing time to suit desired continuous or inter-mitten glue line pattern and machine line speed. Our hotmelt adhesives are designed with high initial tack and have longer working window to make a perfect pleat as we understand our customer needs, processes and geographical differences. Apart from the conventional types, we do have products to any customers using foaming technology.
Adhesive foaming technology with a balance mixture of inert gas with hotmelt adhesives helped reduce adhesive consumption and improved overall bonding performance.
