Peakvent is a tech company developing disruptive state-of-the-art air handling technologies.

The IP comprises important and strong patents recently granted WW enabling unparalleled volume efficiency, low noise and energy efficiency in products where filtration is a key component.

The core invention is the Gyropure Filterfan. A combination of filter and fan that utilizes the so far undiscovered potential in rotating pleated filters together with a special impeller that internally in laminar manner distributes the air for full utilization of the centrifugal potential. The system can be run in a snail housing and act as a traditional blower but with high filtration efficiency built in. In certain configurations the filtration comes without adding power consumption to the blower.

For ventilation systems the progress can be described by a phenomenological formula for system efficiency incorporation product size, flow, filtration efficiency, SFP and SPL(dB). Where as today’s systems have a system efficiency between 5 and 30 Gyropure filterfan raises this to 150-250 or close to what we believe are the limits of physics. The tech opens for applications in small close to consumer systems, from air purifiers to ventilations systems for homes and vehicles, and is also applicable in industrial systems.

Peakvent now onboards a handful of first movers in each vertical and expects our licensing partners to take increasing market shares.

Searching for high flow, compactness, low noise, low power consumption and high filter efficiency?

What is the optimal morphological configuration of fans, filters, HEX and ductings and the limits of physics? Peakvent’s inventor taught the topic at the university before spending 30.000 hours to solve it.

Halfway, the Gyropure ® filterfan was invented and it changed the game radically: It’s basically a pleated filter wrapped around a specially designed impeller and the rotating assembly has exceptional low noise and power consumption.

The inner impeller feeds the filter by smearing out the high velocity incoming air in a laminar manner to build pressure and avoid turbulence loss. Roughly 50 % of the pressure/flow comes from this special impeller and the rotating assembly has surprisingly high flow given the small space it occupies. When put inside a snail housing, it outperforms same size blowers that additionally require large external filters and ductings. The Gyropure ® approaches 1 million consumer hours and will become a must for designers of cutting edge air handling systems: Air purifiers, round AC inverters with air purification for “free”, all types of ventilation units/modules, vehicles, PPE, helmets, data centers ++.

You can become a filterfan manufacturer: Exclusive and non-exclusive licenses for several applicable verticals are offered at FILTECH to first movers. The license includes detailed insights on how to combine the Gyropure with the rest of the system to push effi ciency, lower cost and increase margins.
