PTR in Langenselbold originates from the electron beam welding department of the former company Leybold-Heraeus in Hanau, later Leybold AG. This means that the company has more than 55 years experience in the area of electron beam technology and has developed and manufactured over 600 electron beam systems for the global market. PTR is active globally and is recognized in the area of this advanced technology. Throughout the years PTR has entered into close partnerships with universities and the results enable us to produce f. ex. EB-systems with high beam generators for the global market.
